Whitening
We whiten in the chair and then at home with trays made for your teeth. The shade is read on the same porcelain guide before the first visit and after the last, under the same light, so you leave with two codes on paper instead of a feeling.

What happens, and when.
- 01Shade and photoWe read your shade on the guide, take photos and check for anything that should be treated first.
- 02In-chair sessionGums protected, gel applied in three short rounds. Most people go up two or three shades.
- 03Trays at homeThin trays made from a scan, worn for an hour a day for ten days to settle the colour.
- 04Read the shade againSame guide, same light, same photo angle. We write the new code next to the old one.

It suits
- Teeth that have yellowed or dulled with time, coffee or tea
- Healthy gums and no open decay
- Anyone who wants a natural lift, not a uniform white
Good to know
- Crowns, veneers and fillings do not whiten, so we plan around them
- Some sensitivity for a day or two is normal and fades
- A top-up gel lasts years if you keep the trays
A real case
Whitening, 2 visits.

Coffee stain lifted in one chair session and ten days of trays at home. Measured on the guide before and after.
Questions
What people ask about Whitening.
Does whitening damage the enamel?
No. The gel we use lifts stain from inside the tooth without etching the surface, and we check your enamel before we start.
How white will my teeth get?
Most patients move two to four shades on the guide. We show you a realistic target on your own photo before the first session.
Can I drink coffee afterwards?
Wait 48 hours after each session. After that, coffee is fine; a top-up every year or so keeps the result.
